How Allamal Quraan collects, uses, and protects the personal information of students, parents, and visitors to allamalquraan.com.

Last updated: April 23, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Allamal Quraan (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects the personal information of visitors, students, and parents who use our online Quran classes and our website allamalquraan.com.

We are a fully remote online Quran academy with a founding team based in Pakistan, the UK, and Norway. We do not operate a physical campus. Our service is delivered entirely over the internet in private 1-on-1 classes.

2. What Information We Collect

Directly from you: name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country, preferred class schedule, tutor gender preference, and any information you provide when booking a trial class, filling out the contact form, or communicating with us via email, WhatsApp, or through your assigned tutor.

From parents, for student accounts: for students under 18, we collect the child’s first name, age, and level from the parent or guardian. All billing and account communication remains with the parent or guardian.

Automatically when you visit the site: standard server access logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referrer). We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To schedule and conduct your private 1-on-1 Quran classes.
  • To match you with a suitable tutor (including gender preference where requested).
  • To reply to your messages by email, WhatsApp, or contact form.
  • To process payments through our third-party payment providers.
  • To keep records of class attendance, progress, billing, and account status.
  • To improve our website, teaching, and customer support.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, or similar data protection laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Contract: to deliver the classes you have booked and to manage your account.
  • Legitimate interests: to run and improve our service, communicate with enquirers, and protect our users and systems.
  • Consent: where you have opted in (for example to optional updates). You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation: to keep records required by accounting, tax, or other laws that apply to our business.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share only the minimum necessary data with:

  • Your assigned tutor — so they can teach your class and keep progress notes.
  • Payment processors — to bill your plan and handle currency conversion. ⚠ needs business confirmation: names of active payment providers (e.g. PayPal, Stripe)
  • Video-call providers — Zoom or Skype, whichever you choose, to deliver the class.
  • Essential service providers — our website hosting, email, and analytics providers. ⚠ needs business confirmation: confirm analytics tooling, e.g. Google Analytics
  • Regulators or law enforcement — only where we are legally required to.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use a small number of browser cookies that are needed for the website to function correctly (for example, to remember your preferences on our forms).

We may also use privacy-respectful analytics to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate — never to identify individual students or parents. ⚠ needs business confirmation: confirm specific analytics provider and whether a cookie banner is needed in your markets

7. Data Retention

We keep student account and class records while you are an active student and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting, legal, and re-enrollment purposes. ⚠ needs business confirmation: specify exact retention period (e.g. 6 years for accounting)

Trial-class enquiries and contact form messages are kept long enough to reply and to complete any resulting enrollment, then archived or deleted.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Ask us to delete your data (subject to any legal retention we must follow).
  • Withdraw consent for optional communications.
  • Request an export of your personal data.
  • Complain to your local data-protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@allamalquraan.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and, where required, within the period mandated by applicable law.

9. International Data Transfers

Because our team is remote across Pakistan, the UK, and Norway, and our tutors teach from various countries, your personal data may be processed outside your country of residence. We take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled under comparable protections wherever our team works, including the use of contractual safeguards with service providers where applicable.

10. Children’s Privacy

Many of our students are children aged 5 and above. A parent or guardian must book, pay for, and manage the account. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children — all account communication runs through the parent or guardian.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us and we will remove it.

11. Security

We use reasonable and industry-standard measures to protect your data — encrypted transport (HTTPS) across our website, vetted payment processors, and access controls on our internal systems. No system is completely secure, but we take the protection of your information seriously and will notify you if a breach affects you and we are legally required to do so.

12. Changes to This Policy

If we materially change this Privacy Policy, we will update this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. For significant changes, we will also notify active students by email.

13. How to Contact Us

Questions about this Privacy Policy or about your personal data:

  • Email: contact@allamalquraan.com
  • WhatsApp: +44 7842 687067

The data controller is Allamal Quraan. ⚠ needs business confirmation: registered legal name and, where applicable, the registered address of the entity that owns Allamal Quraan
